Is this a league? No, the VFA Youth Play structure is more similar to 3 separate Jamborees. Although teams will play against the same or similar opposition, standings and points will not be kept.
How many players can I have on one team? The VFA will allow for a maximum roster of 12 players. We suggest teams that have over 11-12 players to enter 2 separate teams of 6+. This will allow for better playing time.
How long will my group need to be at the Richmond Oval to play there three games? Teams will need to be at the Oval for approximately 2.5-3 hours between 5pm-8pm on a Monday booking or between 6pm-9pm on a Tuesday booking.
What kind of shoes do the player wear? Players are to wear rubber soled shoes. Indoor soccer shoes or runners. Turf shoes are NOT allowed on sport court flooring.
Are there referees? Yes, the VFA provides futsal specific referees for all of the matches.
Where can I find the official rules? Click here for the Official Rules and Regulations
Do I need to submit a roster? No, the VFA does not require you to enter and submit an official roster for the Youth Play structure.
